Senior Financial Analyst
We currently have the requirement for a senior financial business analyst to work for a retail bank in London, the position will involve some expensed travel to Europe, therefore languages would be beneficial due to the clients demands.
Main Responsibilities:
- To review the SLAs for a European finance function and ensure they are correctly documented in line with the relevant operating model.
- To provide rigorous documentation and support of the TPA costing process.
- To support the handover of completed TPAs to the BAU finance function.
- To work closely with a range of finance, tax, legal and business colleagues throughout Europe (moderate travel may be required).
- To assist with project governance through maintenance of MSP plans, workstream status reports (PSR), and risks, issues and dependency logs.
- To provide support in the preparation of a range of ad hoc financial analysis.
skills and experience
- Qualified (or QBE) accountant with financial services experience.
- Very strong communication and stakeholder management skills; offering support and challenge to the proposals of others from a range of business areas and cultures.
- Strong understanding of process flows and operating models.
- Strong understanding of costing methods.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Good organisational & planning skills ensuring the successful implementation/delivery of key projects.
- Though not essential, European languages would be an advantage.
