Strategic Commercial Vendor Manager
Manchester

A leading Blue Chip company is looking for a Strategic Commercial Vendor Manager to join their team to develop a strategy with our key service providers to deliver the commercial challenge and to deliver improved commercial performance across key service provider suppliers.

Main Responsibilities for the Strategic Commercial Vendor Manager
*Design and deliver a commercial strategy for service provider suppliers supporting critical projects within the business.
*Responsibility for developing clear contractual documents including statements of work, service level exhibits and performance metrics.
*To manage the financial performance of our suppliers.
*Drive improved performance from strategic suppliers
*Manage commercial dispute resolution.
*Develop supplier management metrics for reporting commercial performance.
*Development of risk assessments and consolidating business risks across category suppliers (Commercial Impact Assessment) and report by category.
*Responsibility for contractual document development and internal sign-off.
*Reporting of commercial risk for area of authority and consolidating and gaining internal agreement to the mitigation plan.
*Management of the commercial risk to the mitigation plan.
*Manage the internal agreement to the forecast plans
*Manage the supplier commercial delivery to the contract.
*Development of the legal instruction to contract development.

Functional Knowledge required of the Strategic Commercial Vendor Manager
*High level of understanding of supply market for category.
*Technical knowledge of products and services for category.
*Experienced in contract development and commercial management
*High level of Contract management.
*High level of financial planning - strategic planning, forecasting and tracking.
*Ability to highlight commercial blockers and manage through to resolution.
*Ability to understand the Customer impact from Supplier performance.
*High level of problem solving expertise, commercial and process for cross business requirements
*Ability to manage forecast planning into contractual commitment
