Job Description:
Reviews and analyzes submitted budget/forecast data for completeness, changes in trend, and drivers of change
Designs effective processes to track financial performance against expectations, including early red flags to identify potential shortfalls
Oversees analysis of planned financial objectives and identifies corrective actions. Partners with key leaders to shift (or maintain) direction.
Acts as a proactive partner to insure business objectives are achieved in a financially efficient manner.
Reviews and presents the financial information to key KP leaders - identifying key messages, risks, and opportunities. Continuously forecasts the progress and momentum in key operations against planned objectives.
Handle all phases of projects assigned including client meetings, analysis, presentations
Lead the process to streamline, refine and improve the budget/forecast/reporting processes
Works cross-functionally to help insure planning processes are consistent, and properly support the development of National Functions organizations individually and as an organization.
Ensures integrity of measurement and control processes and all financial and reporting statements.

12+ years financial analysis or related experience

35% - Monthly (10%), Annual (25%) and Ad Hoc reporting; consolidated reporting, annual budgeting process and deliverables for SVPs (Summarize data and prepare high level powerpoints for Leaders)
20% Special and Ad Hoc Projects - eg IBM Contract Solution, OneLink Project Coding (stretch)
10% Business Partner Consultant (eg Contracts); Trainings for BPs
10% Marketing Finance Performance Improvement Projects
25% Healthworks FP&A Support

40 hours per week during the 8-6pm time frame

Scope:

Assist Senior Manager and Managers in Marketing Finance with higher level analysis and presentations;

Work with Marketing Leaders and Management to strengthen control environment;

Assist in the review of staff deliverables;

May be responsible for Healthworks client group monthly deliverables.

This is a senior level role that can work independently.

Important skills:

Technical accounting (including internal controls) and financial analysis; outstanding communication, customer service, teamwork and follow through; ability to work under pressure, multi-task and work independently,
Financial Analysis (variance analysis and forecasting), Compliance, High level ad hoc analysis, Summarizing various data inputs into succinct presentations for senior leaders, review staff's work and provide feedback to manager (this position will not manage staff but will assist in the review of staff work), process improvement
