Description
Our client a Central Government organisation is seeking a number of PR officers to join a new team.
You will be responsible all proactive PR activity and will promote activities to key target audiences, drawing on a range of tools including events, meetings, briefings, speeches, non-news media and social media and working closely with stakeholders and relevant businesses to establish partnerships for delivering communications activity. Applicants will need to demonstrate creativity and the ability to build partnerships, have a keen political awareness, have a good understanding of the possibilities of digital media and be able to provide excellent presentational advice to Ministers and officials.
You must be able to demonstrate the following experience:
Experience of designing, planning and implementing, proactive public relations and strategic communications strategies.
Experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, particularly in a cross- Government context.
Good media judgement and wider political awareness.
Good personal communication skills, including presentation, persuasion and negotiation.
This will ideally have been gained in a Central Government environment.
