Spring Technology currently require a Senior HR Advisor for our NHS client based in Whistable, Kent. Market rates apply.

Job Summary:
Responsible for delivering a comprehensive, high quality Human Resources function within the SHA that aligns to and supports the delivery of the SHA's strategic objectives and is underpinned by legislation, HR best practice, statutory and governance obligations and national NHS HR priorities, taking into consideration the requirements of transition and SHA closedown.Responsible for embedding organisational development into the SHA, ensuring a skilled, flexible and healthy workforce that is enabled to deliver the vision and priorities of the SHA. Responsible for appropriate internal HR projects and lead for identified streams of work.

Experience:
* Extensive post-qualification experience (minimum of three years) within a generalist HR role, working at a senior level
* Proven experience of policy development and implementation, where influencing senior managers forms a key part
* Experience of managing and successfully delivering projects
* Experience of change management, with skills in negotiating and influencing
* Experience of successfully leading and delivering projects with excellent project management skills
* Experience of working with board level executives, with credibility and respect
* Experience of handling complex and highly sensitive information and situations
* Experience of highly complex problem solving and then developing and successfully implementing clear plans
* Experience of work effectively under pressure and delivering objectives to deadlines in a challenging and demanding environment
* Experience of adapting to, implementing and managing change rapidly and effectively, reassessing priorities where necessary

Skills:
* Excellent report-writing and analytical skills, with the ability to take an overview of the wider impact of issues and initiatives
* Delivery through others outside direct accountability line
* Knowledge of job evaluation methodology
* Solid understanding of the HR in the context of the Strategic Health Authority and key HR issues within the NHS
* Proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer care
* Excellent word processing skills, in particular experience of Windows based software
* Demonstrable knowledge of current and emerging employment legislation, case law, terms and conditions of employment and HR best practice with proven ability of translating this into practice within the overall planning of the on going business of the HR department
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written, with an ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
Proven ability to multi task, prioritise workload and work calmly and effectively under pressure

Prince 2 qualification is desirable.
