UI Designer
Contract to potential perm - option to start out working nights and off hours to make sure right fit, then converting Full time contract
Midtown area

Required skills
- 2-4 years of UI design skills
- illustration design skills for creating logos and icons
- experience in website/online design
- ability to work in fast-paced environment and to be able to juggle multiple projects
- Adobe creative suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
- understanding of mobile device platforms
- understanding of web technologies such as Flash, HTML, CSS
- strong understanding of typography
- excellent communication skills
- degree in Graphic Design or related
Requested skills
- mobile interface design experience - including iPhone and/or iPad
- experience designing web-based applications and complex online tools
- branding design including logo and identity building
- designing digital marketing campaigns
- understanding of User Experience Design concepts
- creating styleguides and graphic standards documents
- experience creating wireframes and site flows
- copywriting skills including marketing copy as well as content for apps and tools such as alerts, notifications, instructions, etc.
