Finance Business Analyst
9 month contract
£400 per day
Edinburgh
My client, a major Financial Services Organisation, is currently looking for a Business Analyst to assist with functional changes to a Finance System.
The successful candidate will have experience working on a Finance Project and will hold an Accounting Qualification.
Experience
*Experience working within project environment with a proven ability to lead others and work on own initiative to deliver optimum business solutions.
*Strong Operational Accounting experience/experience working on a Financial System project.
*Accounting Qualification
*Project Management experience (PRINCE2 or similar)
*Self starter who can work with a number of different teams across all divisions in the group
*Proven ability of gathering information from a range of different sources and in a number of different ways eg data collection, interviews, meetings, review of processes, manuals, documentation review etc
*Good knowledge of Project Management Frameworks, Governance, documentation standards and Project Lifecycle
*Well rounded knowledge of Banking Systems including Product Systems and Finance Systems
*Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
*Familiarity with process modelling, workshop facilitation and business analysis
