Ihre Aufgaben:
- Lead all vendor/provider selection process
- Assist clinical teams in definition of work specification, leading discussions with the study specifications worksheet
- Ensure transparency in contract status
- Negotiation of contract budgets
- Track and report all negotiated savings and cost avoidance
- Minimize regulatory, legal, and financial risks
- Proactively establish and monitor operational and financial metrics and rectify unwanted deviations
- Train clinical teams and line functions in outsourcing-activities
- Propose process changes to improve and optimize interaction between teams and providers
Ihre Qualifikation
- Profound experience in drug development in pharmaceutical industry or with a vendor/provider from pharma–specific experience in outsourcing, contracting, sourcing of clinical services
- Excellent understanding of the clinical development process and the management of clinical trials
- Excellent knowledge of CRO/central labs/specialty provider marketplace
- Excellent understanding of common pricing and contracting models for clinical services
- Influencing and negotiating skills
- Excellent understanding of contracts (including basic legal understanding of terms and conditions)
- Excellent interpersonal skills (team player)
