Risk Specialist - Risk - FSA - Bancassurance - Halifax
£450 - £500 per day 6 months
My Retail Banking Client is looking for a number of Risk Specialist's to support the Retail RDR programme.
This role will:
Support to the programme to ensure that the regulatory requirements are met and a complaint solution developed
Provide challenge to the workstreams to ensure that a consumer centric proposition is developed and that there is no consumer detriment to existing or future customers
Provide risk sign-off to project documentation as a the Risk SME
Provide 1st line assurance to senior stakeholders
Work effectively and collaboratively as a key member of the risk team supporting the RDR programme
You need to have strong Risk experience and have the ability to provide business analyst skills. A strong understanding of the Bancassurance model and investment market is essential as is knowledge of the FSA handbook and RDR requirements. The ability to gather and manage business requirements is a big part of the role so good communication (both oral and written) and good planning and organisation skills are a must.
