The Senior Kronos Functional/Technical Analyst is responsible for researching, analysing, designing, documenting, configuring and implementing the Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) application to support the Time and Attendance systems.  This position serves as a functional point-of-contact to partner with subject matter experts in the testing of system changes, report writing/preparation, and setup of the system.  The Kronos WFC currently in use are version(s) 6.1 and 5.1.  The Human Capital Management System is JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.  To be successful, it is crucial that the Kronos Functional/Technical Analyst partners with a Shared Service Center and a variety of internal customers in addition to external third party providers.

Our Irving Area client is one of the largest suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry in North America.  Their companies produce a broad range of building materials, including cement, aggregates (crushed rock, sand and gravel), ready mixed and precast concrete, asphalt, concrete pipes, pavers, tiles and clay bricks.  They are a part of the global market leader in aggregates and a prominent player in cement, concrete and other downstream activities, employing some 53,000 people at 2,600 locations in around 40 countries.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS
1. Provide support for Kronos Workforce Central such as configuration changes, modifications, application configuration documentation and other application related activities.
2. Be responsible for supporting new implementations of Kronos Workforce Central.
3. Be proficient in the day-to-day support for Kronos Workforce Central v6.1 or later and v5.1.
4. Have a strong knowledge of the Kronos application and technical architecture.
5. Have an understanding of batch processing to output files.
6. Support the complete development life cycle including requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, formal testing, and deployment.
7. Interface with business clients and IT Business Analysts to provide support.
8. Work with Business and IT Team in improving and tuning reports and queries.
9. Work with internal teams and team members to provide solutions in a timely manner.
10. Work with vendors and manage issue or service request tickets and follow up in resolving production issues.
11. Work on special projects as required.
12. Transform the analysis of business requirement specifications, measurements, data mappings, policies, business procedures, etc. into solutions.
13. Manage multiple projects and tasks to completion in an extremely fast-paced environment.
14. Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and establishing effective and efficient business practices.
15. Respond to issues and follow up with clients on a timely manner with solutions.
16. Excel at communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
17. Acquire new skills quickly, be enthusiastic, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum of 5 years experience with Kronos Workforce Central.
2. Strong planning and organizational skills.
3. Outstanding customer facing and communication skills.
4. Strong documentation skills.
5. Self-starter with strong proactive work ethics.
6. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

Preferred skills but not required:
1. Kronos Record Manager experience.
2. Workforce Data Manager experience.
3. Setup Data Manager experience.
4. Kronos Connect experience.
5. Reading and understanding Kronos logs.
6. XML, HTML or ASP experience.
7. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne knowledge.
