ABOUT THE PROJECT

GTN Technical Staffing has an urgent need for a strong eCommerce Architect opportunity in Dallas, TX. Our client is feeling a deep sense of urgency and will begin conducting technical phone screens ASAP. We have a need for an eCommerce Architect to assist on a Dallas based client engagement. The objective is to migrate our client from their own home-grown system to the new Red Prairie platform (all modules listed below). There will be some integration into the current WMS, as well as other 3rd-party tools (like Bronto, etc...), some customization to the RP Back End, and all of the Front End development of the content templates. Data migration is also part of this project. The current E-commerce system is currently handling about 108,000 SKU's and about $40M a year in transactions. The client expects to reach around 220,000 SKU's within the next few years and the current system was not architected to handle that much volume. The eCommerce Architect will work with our team, the client and the vendor in the planning, architecture, implementation and roll out of the new system.

We're implementing the following modules:

  • All-Channel Commerce Suite (E-commerce module)
  • RP Connect (EDI tool that allows them to cut PO's)
  • Ecommetry (Order/Inventory Mgmt)
  • Cognos (3rd-party reporting plug-in tool)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have previous Red Prairie eCommerce product implementation and configuration
  • Strong understanding of Java and J2EE (we're NOT looking for developers, only Architects that are able to speak to the development piece and how it connects to the system)
  • Strong SQL Server
  • JBoss
