Description
This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 18+ month contract opening for a Senior Project Manager with Financial Analysis experience. Will be responsible for project governance, portfolio planning, strategic planning, project roadmapping, financial analysis, resource management, headcount assessment, and data analysis. Will prepare and present PowerPoint presentations to executives and attend monthly governance meetings. Will interact with project managers across the organization providing project status updates, financial analysis, and risk assessments. Will conduct and/or lead discussions with business partners and senior leadership, and be able to speak to a wide variety of people (including also developers and users).
Required Qualifications:
Strong Project Management/Program Management skills and Portfolio planning experience.
Experience working through majority of Systems Development Life Cycle phases.
Experience creating Project Plans and Control.
Proficiency in MS Project and/or EMS; organization tools (ie. JIRA, Rally); and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with financial analysis, strategic planning, project roadmapping, resource analysis, data analysis and presentation.
