An industry leading Global Pharmaceutical Services company has an opening for a Data/Information Architect.  You will create and maintain the information architecture across the content management space. Analyze information requirements specified by the user community and design the required data modules and structures to support those requirements, working with the Business Analyst and Project Architect to ensure the data model is captured accurately throughout the functional requirements.
 
&Some& Specific duties:
* Develop all standards of data structures and models.
* Plan, design, develop, and implement the conceptual, logical and physical data models associated with the systems.
* Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Required Experience:
* 7+ years of experience as a Data/Information Architect in an RDBMS environment (Oracle is main DB)

Solid, quantifiable (meaning you have done it, not &involved in&) experience in:
* Metadata standards
* Data modelling ERD-Dimensional
* Use of modelling tools ERWin-Oracle-Rational-Rose
* Oracle, SQL/PL/SQL
* Query Tuning
* Participation in at least three large projects that involved building out a complex information/data model
* Experience in multitier web based architecture  

Preferred
* Experience in Middleware Technologies EAI and ETL tools
* Experience in clinical information and document management systems
* CRO/healthcare background
