ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a Senior-Level IT Project Manager with a minimum of ten years experience directly managing successful IT projects, implementations, and application integrations. The PM will provide on-site day-to-day direction and management for IT teams and 3rd party software vendors, including interfacing with project stakeholders for weekly project status updates. The PM will be in charge of coordination team activities and stakeholder management ensuring the completion of multiple projects within time and budget requirements. The PM will be the focal point for identification and management of project risk, and is responsible for weekly project status updates describing the health of the project, progress, and budget summary.
Our client has a project support office to help on-board this role and get them caught up to speed. Following a very structured PPM centric project life cycle which includes projects that are being managed with RAD and Agile methodologies, this role will support software development and integration of applications designed by a third party resources. This role will be very business focused, translating business needs into technical solutions.
The anticipated start date for this role is late March or early April.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- Full Life Cycle IT Project Management - Software Development/Integration
- Management of cross-functional teams including business, technical, and 3rd party resources for small, medium, and enterprise-level initiatives.
- Project Budgeting - Managing Budget/Tracking Costs/Re-forecasting/Reporting Budget Variances
- Project Management - Project Plans/Scopes/Timelines/Prioritization/Reporting
- Ability to work in dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
- Excellent English - Verbal and Written
- Proficient in MS Project
- Proficient in MS Office Suite - PowerPoint/Visio/Word/Excel
PREFERRED
- PMP Certitfication
- Experience in oil and gas industry.
