Avery Partner's is looking for an experience Web Application Developer to join a small, dynamic team, and someone who possess broad architectural and development responsibilities. The job will involve writing and maintaining Server Side code for web-based applications that must be robust, responsive and scalable. The candidate should be a well-rounded engineer who can learn and maintain an existing code base but also have the capability and aptitude for designing, creating, and implementing new high-volume production applications.
Requirements:
- 6 years of industry related work experience.
- 3 years of proven experience developing, implementing and maintaining LAMP based solutions.
- Solid background in software design and development
- Heavy PERL development
- Solid SQL, MySQL experience
- Javascript/AJAX
- Knowledge of manual HTML coding
- Experience working with third-party API's
- Apache
- Familiarity of Windows and Linux
- Basic TCP/IP principles
- In depth knowledge of Standard Network Management protocols ( ICMP,SNMP)
- Syslog, Netflow, MRTG experience
This position will start out as a full time contract position for a minimum of 6 months and will then become a full time permanent position. Candidates should have strong communication skills, verbal and written, and be eligible to work in this country for any employer.
