Our Plano, TX Client is seeking multiple Systems Admins/Monitoring Applications Administrators.

Monitoring applications team is responsible for implementing, configuring, managing these applications. To fulfil growing demand of these tools, we are looking for experienced professionals.

Main goals of Monitoring Applications team are

- Manage suite of Monitoring applications throughout application life cycle.
- Understand business and IT monitoring requirements and implement monitoring solutions.
- Provide Production Support to monitoring applications including but not limited to HP BSM 9 monitoring solutions (HP OMi, BSM, RUM, OO, uCMDB, Sitescope, OMw etc), Keynote and Extrahop.
- Incremental development to support changing functionality requirements including Workflow development, customized reports etc.
- Train internal IT teams on usage of Monitoring Solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Production Support of HP Monitoring solutions and related Infrastructure.
- Workflow design and development to meet requirements.
- Complete Software Configuration changes.
- Incremental development and integration of multiple HP tools.
- User training on tools and supporting processes.
- Co-ordination with principal vendors of the software for bug fixing, enhancement requests, upgrades etc.

Experience and Skills

- Engineering graduate with software development and configuration experience of 5 to 7 years experience.
- Expertise in administering HP BSM 9 solutions HP OMi, HPBSM, BPM, uCMDB, NNMi, Sitescope and OMw.
- Expertise in developing and implementing complex Vugen scripts for Application performance monitoring.
- Experience in configuring and administering HP Sitescope.
- Experience in interviewing internal customers including various IT groups to understand monitoring needs and convert into monitoring solutions.
- Experience in developing documentation on procedures and guidelines for daily tasks.
- Experience in training internal IT groups on monitoring platforms.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and deliver multiple complex projects.
