Program Tools and Equipment Buyer (m/f)

Ihre Aufgaben:
- The program tools & equipment buyer is responsible for the purchase of the tools, fixtures, gages and checking fixtures, equipment and packaging of the in-house production.
- Prepare the sourcing strategy according the needed technologies, worldwide footprint and available supplier panel .
- Ensure suppliers selection from the agreed supplier panel identified in cooperation with the commodity buyers create and manage the request for quotations to the suppliers.
- Analyze and review the supplier quotations according to the specifications together with the engineering and program teams .
- Negotiate with the suppliers to reach the timing, cost, quality and technical requirements of the programs.
- Conduct the supplier nomination process .
- Create the purchase orders in SAP .
- Direct performance follow-up during the program phase .
- Follow and negotiate modifications, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines .
- Ensure that the program phase reviews, or " gate " reviews are supported within the framework of the program management system (PMS).
Ihre Qualifikation
- Tools and/ or equipment buyer with experience in automotive industry.
- Knowledge of and experience in sourcing of production tools and equipment for industrial production (if possible automotive or plastics industry)
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and in project structure
- Knowledge of MS Office, SAP MM Module,
- Fluency in English
