Description
Ensures individual project and overall program Risks and Issues are identified through regular risk analysis. Be the control point for resolving issues and mitigating risks.
Maintain the Program RAID.
* Summaries and communicates program and project performance and achievements for internal and external stakeholders and in support the Program Management Office reporting.
* Ensure an appropriate quality plan is in place for project delivery and all stakeholders and delivery partners understand their part in project execution.
* Support the planning team in the development and management of programme and project plans.
* Drive and own project and program interdependencies.
* Monitor resource assignments to ensure necessary resourcing is identified and secured to support project execution.
* Ensure the project status in the Corporate Portfolio Tool is accurate, complete and updated in line with PMO and IT Delivery processes for plan milestones, health, finances and significant updates.
* Conduct pre-implementation, after action reviews and gate reviews, with or on behalf of the IT Delivery QA, PMO or program management as appropriate.
* Ensure projects adhere to standard procedures related to non-disclosure agreements, data privacy and security requirements, regulatory and risk management policies and
* As part of the IT Delivery team for Europe, support other project or communication initiatives as they arise.
Experience Required:
* Minimum of 3 years PMO experience of large scale IT projects, preferably involving systems integration in Client Server and/or web based technology environments.
* Demonstrable PMO skills and experience.
* Primary or Secondary degree in a related discipline
* Experience of and accreditation in a recognized Project Management method, PMI or Prince II preferred.
* Experienced user of MS Project and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio).
* Experience of producing detailed reports and other project materials.
* Prior experience with HP Project Portfolio Manager (PPM) an advantage.
* Prior experience in General Insurance or Financial Services
* Prior experience working in an International environment an advantage
* Some process and workflow improvement experience is an advantage
