For our customer in Brussels, we are looking for:
Acting Head of Infrastructure Management and Application Hosting
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage delivery of steady state infrastructure and hosting services according to agreed service levels.
- Identify and recommend improvement initiatives to increase infrastructure and hosting services performance.
- Measure and report infrastructure and hosting services performance.
- Budget and manage all infrastructure and hosting services (steady state) costs.
- Manage all infrastructure, hosting and Desktop services and solutions are delivered with the right quality according to defined and agreed service levels (end-to-end responsibility)
- Manage connectivity, hosting, collaboration solutions and telephony services are delivered according to defined and agreed performance and availability related service levels (end-to-end responsibility)
- Ensure capability to support high levels of network, application hosting performance, availability and reliability
- Ensure that services are delivered according to defined security policies
- Interact with external providers in operational planning
- Ensure efficient release management, both related to new services and changes to existing
- Interact closely with Change Management on identifying, planning and implementing changes to steady state services
- Manage upgrades of IT environment
- Report and management of incidents according to defined escalation procedures
- Ensure demand and supply service catalogues and service descriptions are created, updated and maintained
Performance management
- Monitor and report the service level performance and ensure adherence to defined SLAs
- Identify and recommend improvement initiatives to increase infrastructure and hosting services performance
- Budget and manage all infrastructure and hosting services (steady state) costs
Profile
- Higher education: Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Practiced within managing IT Services
- Experienced in ITIL and outsourced IT environments
- Proven analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Team-player, proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
- Cultural awareness
- Structured personality
- Proven track record of IT operations, service delivery and sourcing
- Deep technical knowledge, experience and competence within the IT infrastructure
- Experienced in ITIL processes, IT financial management, and contract management
- Good application knowledge from a functional and technical perspective
