The Role:
As a key member of the Facilities Engineering and Subsea Operations (FESO) group, the purpose of this role is to provide Project Technical Safety Engineering support and information to the Project Team from Front End engineering development up to operational handover, with specific responsibilities in the area of technical safety engineering and assessment.
Manage technical safety elements relative to minor modification work scopes. Interface with Contractor's Engineers, Consultants, Regulatory Bodies, IVB and Corporate Staff eg Technical Authorities. Monitor progression of design deliverables and studies.
Qualifications:
* Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
* Extensive knowledge and experience in application of Technical Safety Engineering (including the applicable regulations, codes and standards) and safety assessment techniques
Skills/Experience:
* Engineer with considerable relevant engineering experience in Technical Safety matters within Oil & Gas Environment
* Fully conversant with requirements of UK offshore regulatory regime
* Ability to plan and produce technical safety deliverables relative to FESO Requirements
* Ability to manage technical safety & EHS plans, estimates and deliverable production by E&C Contractor and Consultants
* Previous experience working in minor modification engineering environment.
