Description
Global Integration and data management company seeking a Sr. Java Developer for their Alpharetta location. This is a long term contract that offers flexibility with a very progressive organization working with cutting edge technology!
This is an immediate need for a Sr. Software Engineer to enhance existing Java SE/EE application components, and to collaborate with other team members on the design and development of new applications focused on data integrations and data management for business verticals such as supply chain and health care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full application life cycle development.
- Creation, administration, and maintenance of multiple Production web applications.
- Troubleshooting problems and fixing defects.
- Working with customers, analysts, customer support representatives, and project managers.
- Learning new languages and new technologies, usually with minimal formal training.
- UI design, prototyping, coding, and database schema design.
- Tracking and management of defects and enhancement requests.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's Degree in IT discipline; 5+ years developing enterprise level Java/J2EE applications including EJBs (3.0+ spec preferred), Spring, Servlets, JSPs, JMS, web services, persistence frameworks (JPA and/or Hibernate preferred); experience with other open-source Java frameworks a plus. Must have experience in object modelling and database modelling; web Scripting (AJAX, XHTML, etc.); development tools (Eclipse, Ant, Maven, etc.) and J2EE app Servers like JBoss. Any experience you have with data integration and data management is a HUGE plus. This is a 6+ month contract position in Alpharetta. Background check and drug screen required. START TOMORROW!
