Financial Powerhouse is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 6 month contract in Secaucus, NJ. This individual will facilitate large group requirements gathering sessions across groups of disparate business functions to achieve a common, single set of requirements. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Anticipate issues, think proactively, and use critical thinking skills to plan stakeholder elicitation sessions. Responsible for documenting business needs, detailed functional specs, along with use-cases and UI specs. Define testing objectives and verify requirements are testable. Build strong relationships with project stakeholders. Responsible for ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within the program/project as they relate to requirements. You will be the primary point of contact for the development, QA, and product management team during the entire SDLC life cycle. Qualified candidates will have experience in Lotus Notes, SQL, and MS Office Suite. This person should have an IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases.
