Description
Leading Phoenix, AZ client is currently seeking a 3 month contract for a Senior Flash Developer. The Senior Flash Developer designs and develops Flash and Air applications to be used by teachers and students. This role demands advanced skills to ensure outstanding quality in the execution of all projects as well as the underlying technologies used. The Senior Flash Developer is an expert within the field, and must be experienced writing modular, Object Oriented AS3 code. Experience using design patterns is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Gathering requirements and designing application solutions.
- Flex/Flash application development and testing.
- Working in a small team to meet hard deadlines.
- Full product life cycle development.
- Writing clean Object Oriented code predominantly with AS3 (and other languages as required).
Knowledge/Requirements:
- Expert level development experience using ActionScript 3, Flex, and AIR.
- Expert experience using Flash CS5 IDE or Flash Builder (preferably both).
- Strong experience with client-side web technologies (JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, XML).
- Strong experience developing networked applications using technologies such as sockets, datagrams, and/or networking frameworks such as Cocoon P2P.
- Practical knowledge of design patterns.
- Practical experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Understands interaction as a holistic field, including traditional web sites, rich Internet applications, mobile applications, and gaming interfaces.
- Good eye for design.
