Cisco Voice Engineer /UC
Western Sydney - Imminent start opportunity
We are seeking experienced Voice Engineers with a heavy emphasis on Cisco to provide support to our existing voice and network engineers.
This role will start at the beginning of May, we expect availability a week prior to project kick off for ramp up/framework/stakeholder engagement/implementation team initiation, etc. Although there is a little degree of flexibility for the right candidate.
This is an Enterprise scale roll out involving in excess of 100 sites. You will need large scale voice roll out experience for this role. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to be considered.
Please note, this implementation is for NIGHT WORK. Shifts run from 7pm until 2.30am and 1.00am until 8.30am including handover. Initial location is Western Sydney, some site visits may be required - although we expect that to be kept to a minimum.
You will be working with our existing implementation teams and the customer, providing voice implementation support to ensure smooth and effective transition to new technology/versions
What are we looking for? Well, you MUST have the following experience:
CUCM v7 > 8.6
- Bulk config tool - you must be extremely proficient, you need to hit the ground running
- creation of site specific config ie Location, region, CSS, partitions, etc
- good understanding of handset config inc wireless handsets
- working with large rollout projects not 3 to 4 sites but +
CCME v7+
- Configuration of CCME, conversion from CCME to SRST, etc
H.323 Voice Gateway configuration
- dial-peers, translation patterns, sip trunks, ISDN, QSIG etc.
Analogue Gateway Configuration
- VG224 & FXO/FXS cards - configuration of analogue ports
This experience MUST be clearly detailed in your Resume. We would also expect relevant industry certifications.
This role is available for an imminent start - 6 month (+/-) engagement with the possibility of extensions and additional work for successful candidates.
