Description
1+ year contract (indefinite) for a Senior Forms Developer that can design complex, multi-page forms that will be used for processing in an image based workflow environment using high speed scanners, data capture software and 1D/2D barcode technologies. If you are self driven, results and detailed oriented type person that thrives on working with multiple assignments and meeting short deadlines; we need to talk!
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Interacting with vendors and internal personnel and will need to have excellent technical and business communication skills.
- Creating/modifying forms that will be
o sent for mass print publication
o replicated by other software vendors that will be using forms within their core software
o published for customers to download and fill out in a PDF format to be submit back via mail for processing. - Overall management of over 200+ forms and payment coupons.
- Writing detailed forms specifications to be used by external software companies to replicate select forms within their software and will need to be able to test and validate forms meet stated specifications.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years paid job experience modifying and developing complex structured forms published in PDF format.
- 3+ years demonstrated abilities in the areas of forms design, layout and specifications as well as familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the
field - 3+ years writing detailed forms specifications to supply to external entities to be used to replicate structured forms for review and approval
- 3+ years experience using software tools for forms design such as Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Professional, Bartend, and Photoshop
- 3+ years on the job experience with MS Office
- Excellent communications skills and strong attention to details
- Strong editing/spelling skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor Degree in Technology or Graphic Arts
- Working experience modifying forms used for processing payments or multi-page data captured forms
- Experience working within and environment that utilizes high speed scanning equipment and imaging software to process forms
- Experience and ability to utilize Java Scripting within PDF forms
