My client based in Luxembourg is looking for a Senior System Administrator UNIX (Expert Solaris) to work in the Data center of a very large organization.
Job description:
Set up, configure and support complex IT infrastructures. Define and maintain all local ICT support processes and procedures. Conduct the installation of hardware and software, system administration and backup maintenance activities, migrations, upgrades. Resolve incidents, patching, Scripting, audit and disaster recovery.
Profile
University degree in computer sciences with a least 6 years of experience. Wide knowledge in infrastructure. I n-depth understanding of the high-end IT architecture necessary to design and implement solutions for customers, and understanding of the capabilities and benefits associated with different software and operating systems. Good knowledge of database design and implementation, operation and recovery, security and auditing, performance, and installation and migration/upgrades specific to the operating system. Very good knowledge of Unix, Solaris Operating Systems, Sun Cluster, Linux Redhat, Veritas Volume Manager.
Knowledge of the following is an asset: Teamquest, BMC Patrol, SAN NAS Technologies and EMC Networker. Fluent English. Good knowledge of French is an asset but not required.
