Our client, a global media industry company is currently recruiting for an E-learning Designer for an initial 6 Week contract based in London,
Working as a designer within the E-learning design team, you will interpret client and instructional design instructions and make the necessary changes to the market-ready courses.
You will also contribute to the design and development of our extensive catalogue of courses ensuing that the graphics, text, interactions and multi-media components are high quality and engaging.
The main responsibilities are:
Work with the instructional designers to create market-ready and bespoke courses
Make text and graphic amendments to courses based on the customisation of an E-learning storyboard
Support pre-sales process by creating proof of concepts and course prototypes
Contribute to the design of new templates for annual course revamp process
Quality control of the customised courses
Update project details in project management database
Critical Competencies: skills and abilities required for the role
The candidate must be creative with a good eye for design concepts.
They must possess strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise projects accordingly.
The candidate must also have an understanding of E-learning design standards such as user interaction, multimedia and graphic components, and intuitive navigation.
Good communications skills and the ability to work as part of the E-learning team (project managers, instruction designers and fellow multimedia designers).
Knowledge of Adobe programs Flash and Photoshop are essential, as well as having previous experience within E-learning/web design.
Understanding of interactive and user centred design processes including multimedia and graphic design, human factors and usability methodologies.
