DESCRIPTION

The In Vivo Contractor will work as part of a project team to generate high-quality in vivo data in support of identifying lead compounds.

Responsibilities:

• Summarize data and provide updates to supervisor and project teams.
• Contribute to the development of new processes and assay methodologies that will improve the productivity and scientific impact of the working group.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of biomarkers required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, record keeping and computer literacy skills.
• Team oriented with a flexible approach to goal delivery.

Experience with the following desired:

• Drug formulation
• Animal handling and dosing
• Pathogen handling
• Small animal surgery and tissue collection
• Ex vivo assays
