DESCRIPTIONThe Marketing Communications Coordinator will provide administrative aid for various promotional and outreach projects which includes project meetings scheduled, minutes of meetings, monitoring timelines and maintaining project tracking spread sheets.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between the marketing department and corporate communications, advertising agency, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services.
- Validate, log and follow-up on requests for marketing information, support and materials.
- Internal and external correspondence and proofreading.
- Tracking and reporting of marketing activities, media hits, campaigns and portfolios of collateral materials.
- Must have a basic understanding of marketing principles and processes and a minimum of two years of marketing communications experience in a marketing department or agency.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as detail oriented skill required.
- Must have excellent-to-expert skill level with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Some level of proficiency with Lotus Notes, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Photoshop or Elements.
- Experience with Primavera project management software preferred. An Associate's degree in marketing, communications, business or the equivalent is required.
