DESCRIPTIONThe Media Services Consultant will work with Consumer Industry Analyst Relations team to create an industry analyst conference to be held in late 2012.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day execution of the conference plan, including working/collaborating with events group for venue selection.
- Creating invitations for analysts to event.
- Formulating and executing travel for industry analyst attendees.
- Working with public relations support leads to ensure executive participation.
- Coordinating delivery of executive presentations with public relations support leads.
- Creating executive briefing materials prior to event, etc.
- Managing an industry analyst quote log that contains quotes made by industry analysts in the media and in reports regarding key initiatives/issues.
- Producing a daily "quote report" for the Director.
- Maintaining the Consumer IAR SharePoint site to ensure all documents residing there are up-to-date, helping to support research requests of Strategic and Employee Communications, and Corporate Communications teams.
- Assisting with industry analyst inquiries as needed.
- Must have industry analyst relations experience and be proficient in project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with event planning as well as the professional/ability to work with all levels of business.
- Knowledge of graphics, MS Outlook and Excel and also SharePoint experience all required.
