Position Description:
The Designer is responsible for assessing client input and creating and building conceptual, compelling and usable web designs. Excellent client communication skills are required. Could be responsible for concepts, design, and production of quality graphics, including banners, popup advertisements, buttons, and navigation for Internet and Intranet use. Mock up preliminary links to Intranet or Internet. Aid in the preparation of screenshots and design for presentations. Consultant will have a solid understanding of Web design, navigation, content presentation, usability best practices, and Web technology.
Experience Level: 10+ Years.
Skill Set:
Consultant will have working knowledge of browser capabilities and design constraints for Web development. Highly motivated, deadline driven, and have excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to articulate verbally and graphically specific design ideas to team members and clients. Ability to adapt to different design styles. Consultant will have 7+ years web and interface design experience. Must be at expert level in AJAX, JQuery, XML, JavaScript, CSS, UI Mockups, UI Design, and HTML; be experienced in dynamic Back End integration and the facets/limitations of designing for different browser versions across multiple platforms.
