Project Manager (Trade Support Documentation) - Asset Management

Job description

My client is a prestigious financial institution in the Asset Management industry. They are looking for a n experienced Project Manager.

The main responsibilities include:

Assist Trade Support in writing the operating memorandum defining any non-standard, tailor made existing processes with respect to any involved entity (Custodians, Fund administrators, Partners, Clients ) for the entire scope of instruments and locations.

Review current structure proposed by Trade Support and agree on chapters and priorities.

Collect and list any topic which has to be included in the operating memorandum and describe why.

Provide that list to Trade Support and ensure that any topic of the list will indeed be described in the document prepared by Trade Support.

Organize a first review of each chapter along with the concerned teams-Departments, collect and compile any comments and provide them back to Trade Support for review.

Maintain a roadmap and summary documents to have a clear vision on where everyone stands.

Log any blocking point where an arbitrage would be needed.

Follow up on the update and once the updated version is satisfactory, organize a new internal review for validation.

Once agreed by all internal entities involved, submit the chapter to management for final validation.

TCP

Write down a detailed TCP (Trade continuity plan) aiming to ensure business continuity in case of any breakdown of systems both on IP and Trade support side for the entire scope of instruments & locations.

Ensure both a manual solution & STP solutions are identified and described.

Ensure a clear communication & escalation paths are described and agreed by both parties.

Ensure the setup of a crisis committee when needed & define when it would be needed (timing, issue ).

Once this document is mature and validated by the involved parties, organize the final validation.

Liaise with all necessary departments for correct tool set up resulting in correct and accurate

management and trading feasibilities.

Required Experience/Skills:

Experience in the asset management business is a must, (with Trade support even better).

Experience in documenting operational processes (SLA's, ope memo, letters of adherence,) and dealing with high level problem solving.

Good knowledge of the asset management operational environment - IP environment being a plus.

Well organized, excellent communication skills.

Good English level, especially written.

Risk aware and process minded.

Self-driven and quick learner.
