STATUS: 3 Month Contract to Hire
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Are you a Middleware Solutions Architect looking to take a step forward in your career? If so, look no further! The Solutions Architect will have the opportunity to lead implementations, as well as be the go-to expert technically, for several concurrently running solutions, handling change in a production environment. You will offer life cycle support for everything from architecture to implementation when it comes to application re-engineering & Middleware incorporation across precise projects in an SOA environment. Projects will range from mid-level to complex, so you will be kept busy!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Apply solutions for re-engineering of applications, as well as Middleware architecture.
*Implement control to guarantee adherence to distinct methodologies in regards to solutions and SOA development life cycles.
*Communicate projects clearly with clients
*Balance corporate objectives, viability and scalability of solutions while focusing on clients' values.
*Aid in the overall project plans, as well as stakeholder requirements.
*Help to evaluate everything from cost, to portability, to usability.
*Assess risk mitigation.
*Guarantee data solution design achieves functional/technical requirements.
*Responsible for everything from the accuracy, to the integrity, to the quality of client solutions.
*Stay on top of possible problems or challenges by monitoring implementation of initial progress.
*Familiarity with project management and development methodologies.
*Document and communicate best practices.
TECHNICAL OVERVIEW:
*Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
*Service Oriented Interface Design experience (SLA, QoS)
*Enterprise Service Bus implementation life cycles
*Prior experience with complex transformation projects (define, design, implement)
*JBoss or SOA
*BPM, BPEL
*EAI Design Patterns
*CCMI
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
*Hadoop
*XML
*Data Virtualization, MDM
*Agile Methodologies (SCRUM)
*Any industry certifications
