OVERVIEW:
Our client is a hugely popular computer manufacturing company seeking a candidate to work on adding security support for Windows environment as well as Linux environments.
S/He will be responsible for developing software implementations for APIs, including security and non-security APIs. The candidate will also debug, validate, support bug-fixes as part of day-to-day work. The person also will be responsible for creating test plans, test cases to validate the software under development. This Engineer should be very flexible to develop and may have to perform roles in both development and testing/validation.
- Several years of software development experience
- Strong Windows/Linux Kernel Mode Device Driver experience working with hardware devices, interrupts
- Dev Tools - IDE tools, Kernel Debuggers
- Code management - Source code control like SVN, ClearCase, GIT etc.
- Basic Security software expertise - understanding of security and general exposure to Security Algorithms
- Strong self motivation, ability to pursue new knowledge
- Expertise handling driver and firmware together
This contract position is expected to be 9 months in duration.
