OVERVIEW:
Our client is the biggest name in the software industry seeking a PM capable of contributing to Localization of their games platform and gaming devices.
Specific Services and Deliverables include:- Creation and maintenance of localization plan and schedule
- Communication/publication of information to appropriate parties
- Communication of any plan/schedule information change to appropriate parties
- Coordination with other teams for managing external dependencies
- Following established process setup for the localization program management tasks
- Driving the localization project to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Investigation of blocking issues for the projects and help drive them to resolution
- Using available automations and tools to create software and documentation Localization Kit (LocKit)
- Coordination of software and Documentation QA efforts with linguistic QA vendors and/or subs
- Triage and drive bugs to resolutions
- Collaboration and participation in the internal/external project post-mortem
- Collaboration in the creation and maintenance of the project information web pages
- Providing regular status reports to the International Program Manager
- Create localization plans and localization project schedules
- Coordinate project activities such as lock kit preparation, handoffs and handbacks
- Effectively communicate schedule, and any schedule changes, to all parties involved in the projects, such as core team, subsidiaries and external localization vendors
- Triage bugs and make sure that they are addressed accordingly and following schedule
- Ability to follow the process setup by the Localization team use the tools and automations
- Should have experience with localization and gone through at least one localization cycle
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Word
- Familiarity with LocStudio and/or Trados
- MS Project
- TFS/SD/VSS
- Product Studio
