Senior test manager
Manage the testing processes (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Defect resolution), the stakeholders, vendors (2) and the community. The test strategy has been created but needs to be re-reviewed.
ROS Foundation Test Management
o Ensures test strategy (how to test, what to test, etc) includes the appropriate defined the test events (eg, system test, user acceptance test)
o Ensures the test plans for system testing of complex scenarios with touch points covering all key business process functionalities based upon the approved ROS foundation design are well designed and cover functionalities
o Ensures test cases for the system testing are appropriate in level of detail
o Guides the business community towards the development of the user acceptance test strategy, plans, cases and corresponding data.
o Accountable to ensure system testing has been successfully executed to validate the handshaking amount the ROS solution components, the configuration of the system and the interfaces exchanging data.
o Plan and manage the activities of the ROS test team for fully integrated test of ROS foundation solution and consistent delivery of all work products.
o Acts as communications conduit to ensure test results summary are agreed and issue are escalated for timely resolution.
Approve Approach and Decisions (what we will and won't do)
o Accountable to obtain approval from global business sponsor for overall ROS Foundation test strategy, test plan and test results
o Accountable to obtain approval from GIS leads for ROS Foundation system test strategy, test plan plans and test results
