Systems Administrator/Networking Infrastructure - Cisco - Network, Cisco, Router, Administrator, VPN, MPLS, "Active Directory", ITIL, VMWARE, Infrastructure, engineer, Switches - Belgium - €400 per day

Our global client has an urgent requirement for a Systems Administrator/Networking Infrastructure - Cisco to ensure the continuing success of their IT infrastructure. The EMEA infrastructure team is part of the global infrastructure team and there will be opportunities to drive global infrastructure projects forward.

Key Skills

  • Excellent experience (+7 years) within managing network environments within large scale organisations
  • Proven experience with Cisco Router and Switches on CCNP level
  • Experience with VPN and MPLS networks, WAN optimization and Firewalls (Cisco ASA)
  • Proven experience with High Performance Wintel and Linux environments
  • Proven experience with designing and implementing Networking solutions
  • Working knowledge of storage solutions, preferable Netapp
  • Working knowledge of server platforms, preferable Cisco UCS
  • Experience with performance analysis and tuning
  • Experience in writing reports and good understanding of ITIL concepts

Advantageous Skills

  • Experience with deploying virtual desktop technologies including App-V and user personalization
  • Understanding of networking concepts and able to support Cisco Routers/Switches

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or more than 5 years experience in IT Infrastructure, Architecture and support
