Our client is a leading International Telecom consultancy company and looking for an experienced mobile Handset(Device)/Field testing engineers in UK (M4 corrider) and France (Paris). You must have a good experience in mobile handset SW testing experience for new handset devices & their applications prior to their pre-launch market release and must have local verbal language skills.The role requires following
Role & Responsibilities:
To execute test scripts, identifying pre-released product performance issuesTo verify the exact nature of a reported customer issue, through going to the customer and replicating the issue
Key Responsibilities: Testing & Reporting
- Field Trial of handset applications
- Perform the test scripts together with the GCF standard script across EMEA, in order the identify any product performance issues before release to the customer
- Software Quality Assurance testing (SQA)
- Conduct software quality assurance testing, working with the customer in order to verify a reported issue at any stage during the product life cycle
- Capture phone logs that enable Engineering to develop a detailed understanding of the products performance
- At least 2 years SQA/field trial experience within mobile telecommunications sector
- Proven experience in Mobile Device Testing (IOT & GCF)
- Knowledge of different Mobile Operating Systems - Android, Windows etc
- Hands on testing experience of Radio, UI, Email, SMS, MMS, Connectivity, Browser, Content, Streaming, DRM, Web portal application, Bluetooth, Modem, Wi-Fi, Gadget, Video Telephony etc.
- Knowledge of GSM, GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA and HSUPA cellular technologies.
- Experience of working with Qualcomm chip sets and is familiar with mobile test methods
- Experience with Qualcomm QXDM tool
- Experience of Field Test, Customer Acceptance and Operator support.
- Experience of Battery Life and Stability testing
- Good communication skills in English, especially written as well as mother tongue

Note:
All selected candidates are required to attend a training period of minimum 1-2 weeks at UK site at the beginning of their engagement
