Senior PHP Web Developer - Contract - Top Daily Rates - Dublin - Roles x3

• Responsible for the development of websites that use web-service applications, primarily in PHP using Apache and Linux
• Responsible for design and implementation of top notch Web User Interfaces
• Responsible for the delivery and management of each stage in the project life cycle of web applications, Front End interfaces and framework components
• Must be familiar with web services and their associated protocols and definition languages, SOAP, XMLHTTP, RPC, and WSDL
• Responsible for developing production-level code, as well as proof-of-concepts and prototypes
• You will work primarily with Dynamic XHTML, PHP (procedural and object-oriented design), dynamic content retrieval, performance optimisation, unit testing, and debugging techniques
• You will be working within a Linux open-source environment that communicates with Windows based Servers
• Writing standards-compliant complex CSS, XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript
• Writing enterprise level PHP applications that experience high levels of traffic and need to scale to meet the needs of high availability and fast response

Skills/Experience Required:

• Strong command of PHP, at least one PHP framework, SOAP, AJAX, MySQL, MS SQL Server, CSS, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript
• Strong ability to integrate Front End websites with Back End systems, including CMS platforms
• Full knowledge of cross platform display issues between major browsers and platforms
• Ability to work with a team and follow established scrum methodology
• Well versed in code optimization and software design principles, and have a passion and demonstrated experience in software development
• The ideal candidate will have a BSCS/MSCS or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant web programming experience, or 5+ years in CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and 1+ years of leadership experience
• Must be fluent with Linux
• Excellent analytical and programming skills

Desirable Experience:

• Creation of Web Services user PHP (NuSOAP or PEAR Soap) and C# .NET
• Strong understanding of Usability, Human Computer Interaction, and Design Guidelines
• Knowledge of and experience publishing and parsing semantic XHTML
