Synergis has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Developer - ESB/Integration for a 6 month contract position for our client in Norcross, GA. The position may have the opportunity to move to a full time position.
Job/Position Summary:
This software developer is responsible for continued development of our Java-based Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) infrastructure. This ESB infrastructure and required server applications will support numerous Mobile devices and Windows Web applications in the Field Service and Field Sales business domains.
Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
1. Develop Java-based Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Services with Active MQ 60%
2. Develop REST API's for data import and Export from SQL Server System of Record 40%
Required Qualifications:
5+ years hands-on experience developing Java Server Side applications.
5+ years experience in developing and implementing JAVA web services.
Experience in implementing REST API's
3+ years experience with Hibernate and Spring Frameworks.
2+ years experience designing, developing and deploying ESB solutions. Preferred experience will be with any of the established ESB products: Oracle ESB, Sonic ESB, Apache ServiceMix, Mule ESB.
2+ years experience in developing OSGi services.
2+ years implementation experience with JMS.
2+ years' experience and excellent quality programming skills with: JAVA, Servlets, JSP Ant, Maven, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JUnit, UML, XML.
Strong Object Oriented Design knowledge.
Strong SQL experience specifically developing against Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle MySQL
Experience with Eclipse.
Agile development methodology experience.
Excellent oral and written skills.

Detail and results oriented.
