Description
Large North Fort Worth based employer is seeking a IT Project Manager for a long-term role.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years managing IT projects, both small and large projects.
- Knowledgeable in basic project management (project plans, issue logs, status reports, budget tracking).
- Knowledgeable in formal project management processes but is willing to pick up the phone and/or get out of their chair to talk to people to get things done.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.
- Ability to identify and drive issues to resolution.
- Ability to participate in requirements gathering and to understand the requirements well enough to represent the client in technical/functional meetings. This may include answering questions, but it most definitely includes the ability to articulate/translate questions/answers between the client/user and IT resources.
- Familiarity with transportation solutions is a plus, but not a &must have.&
This opportunity will start out as a 6 month to 1 year contract, with a strong possibility of going longer or converting to permanent. The hiring manager will move fast to interview and hire the right candidate.
