The successful candidate for this position will be an individual that has experience developing mixed Business Intelligence solution using Cognos, Web and SQL. This person will t eam with Quality Metrics Project team, Business Intelligence Competency Center (BICC) personnel, and others from Factory Operations support to develop metrics and reports for the Project. Need to be able to develop and optimize complex queries. The Project is a Dashboard that provides a multi-tiered reporting system for a complete enterprise management solution. A programmer/developer for this position needs to be able to work in a high-demand environment using agile software development processes. This person also needs to demonstrate the ability to team well with project personnel and internal customers
Qualifications
COGNOS 8.4 and 10.1 - Framework Manager, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, SDK
Programming and Web - ASP.NET & Visual Studio Web Development, VB.NET, C#, MVC, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, Javascript, Object Oriented Programming, Cross Browser Compatibility
Database: SQL Development. Experience in Teradata and SQL Server is preferred.
- Relational Database principles and design
- Teradata 13 SQL (Preferred): DDL, DML and Data retrieval, Macros
- SQL Server 2008 SQL: DDL, DML, Stored Procedures and Data retrieval
Must be able to work well with an integrated team. Fluent English required. Strong Communication skills.
