Candle is seeking a Server Support Engineer to join a leading prestigious organisation. This is an initial 12 month contract.
As Server Support Engineer, you will provide server support and technical assurance for the Wintel fleet. The role will also own complex root cause analysis and associated permanent corrective actions managed through to successful resolution in consultation with the management team. Experience in supporting large scale enterprise with complex & critical systems as a third level engineer is a MUST for this role.

Essential Skills and Experience -
Several years experience in a similar role
Microsoft certification for windows server
Previous experience of VBscript, Powershell, VB 6.0 and VB.NET
Understand and support achieving Service Level Agreement obligations
Thorough understanding of incident, Problem and Change Management systems and ITIL framework
Awareness of GDF (Lean/Six Sigma) and proven history of Continual improvement in previous roles
