Description
The successful candidate will have experience within the following areas:
- Responsible for Quality assurance input to design, engineering and qualification activities and continuous improvement
- Essential skills needed: Recognised trade/engineering apprenticeship and/or years' experience in engineering or quality assurance
- Input as required to proposal preparation, including evaluation of customer and regulatory quality requirements
- Preparation of quality assurance plans, programmes and statements
- Support to project meetings and design reviews
- Conduct of quality assurance activities during development, including product, project and system audits, customer liaison, supplier control and corrective action
- Customer communication, including conducting First Article Inspections
- Use of appropriate tools and techniques to monitor and improve process effectiveness, including relentless root cause analysis and mistake proofing
