Description
We are currently seeking a UNIX security Administrator to join our client's enterprise environment. To be successful for this role you will require previous experience in serving as the SME for UNIX in the technical security group that sets corporate technical security standards.
Skills and Requirements
You will require to measure compliance to those standards, detects network and computer vulnerabilities, and coordinates corrections to those vulnerabilities you will be required to Serves as the corporate Subject Matter Expert for UNIX system security. Sub-duties include managing the corporate UNIX security standards, recommending UNIX system security patches, and coaching company technical teams on Unix security matters. Develops and maintains the Unix Systems Security Compliance Program, which measures UNIX system compliance to published technical security standards and published security patching notices. Leads the Unix Systems Vulnerability Assessment Program, using scan tools such as Nmap, Nikto, Nexpose, and Nessus. Administer team RedHat Servers and Apache Web Server Expert Linux Administrator, Expert Perl Scripting, Proficient Experience with Nessus, Nikto, Nmap ,Experience with Oracle or MySQL, Experience with Apache Web Server , Strong computer and telecommunications networking skills. Strong written communication skills.
Certifications:
Security Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GCWN, GCUX) System administrator Certifications on Sun Solaris, RedHat Linux, HPUX will be highly regarded.
