Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a Capital & ALM Business Analyst, to be based in The Docklands.
The Capital & ALM Business Analyst is required to work within the Capital and ALM Systems change delivery team, on the Groups Capital systems projects.
The Capital & ALM Business Analyst will be responsible for:
-Take responsibility for the timely definition of emerging requirements in close partnership with stakeholders
-Work closely with diverse Business stakeholders, and their teams, to ensure their requirements and priorities are successfully met
-Form a successful partnership with Group and Local IT organisations to collaborate to define cohesive, cost effective and integrated solutions to meet business requirements
-Lead requirements and design activities across a disparate team of permanent employees, both on-shore and off-shore, third-party consultants and contractors
-Take responsibility for the requirements and design delivery milestones, ensuring that progress is carefully monitored and external key dependencies are managed
-Facilitate issue resolution to ensure that the release schedule remains on track and that functional issues are solved through appropriate, agreed solutions
-Be conversant with the principles of Capital management and reporting, and understand the functions of relevant Business stakeholder areas
As such, the successful Capital & ALM Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
-Senior stakeholder management ability
-Mature and independent - able to work with little supervision
-Ability to professionally and effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of management
-Proficiency in problem solving
-A self-starter with excellent written/verbal communication skills
-Team player able to manage conflict and conflicting priorities
-Financial Services Project Experience across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements, preferably RWA calculation & Capital management
-Track record of defining clear and comprehensive requirements
-Successful definition of innovative functional and technical solutions
-Demonstrated experience of working on large scale project implementations involving IT
-Exeperience of working in a large banking organisation preferred
