Senior Design Analyst - Banking - Business Analyst - payments
A leading Retail Bank based in London is seeking a Senior Design Analyst/Business Analyst to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation. This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.
The purpose of the role/project is to support the design process for the payments services; ensuring that the end to end solution works for the payments council.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Raise change requests within the industry and coordinate the relationship with the payments council,
- Creation of supporting materials in payments sessions with the payments council,
- Update key stakeholders and project manager on progress, including raising risks and issues where appropriate,
- Support coordination and communication with other workstreams and business units,
- Knowledge of payments systems, specifically those used by Retail Banks.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):
- Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes (Service measurement and these are calculated),
- Proven experience interacting directly with key business stakeholders and end users,
- Ability to manage to changing work priorities and to deliver to deadlines,
- Analytical skills and understanding of Payments industry,
- Understanding of Payments agency agreements and industry best practices of indirect participation in payment schemes,
- Knowledge of payments systems, specifically those used by Retail Banks,
- Previous experience in integration or divestment.
- As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
