Volt are currently recruiting on behalf of a global pharmaceuticals giant based in West London for an Accounts Assistant.
The vacancy is with the Finance, and is responsible for the accounting of the UK Pension schemes.
The role is to assisting the Pensions Finance team with the accounting processing for the 5 UK Pension Schemes and the Common Investment Fund. Duties will include weekly and monthly journal preparation and postings, bank reconciliation work, investment accounting, reconciliations of control accounts as well as other tasks.
The candidate is expected to have a strong general accounting/bookkeeping background and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment with a minimum of supervision. Excellent IT and spreadsheet skills are required. Pensions accounting experience would be preferable but not essential.
