OVERVIEW:
- Review existing system and application documentation and code
- Work with business to analyze, define, and document application requirements, understanding future vision, immediate needs and breaking project into achievable releases
- Develop project timelines
- Based on requirements, prepare detailed design documents for applications
- Understand and work with IT on their requirements so that the applications can be global sustained and rolled out
- Refine project timelines
- Design, code, test and document programs and systems
- Ensure reliability of accuracy, utility, performance, and execution of systems
- Maintain project timelines
- Work with IT and end users on system integration, testing, validation and deployment
- Work as a team player and leader on assigned projects
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff
- Perform complex system analysis and programming tasks to defined standards
- Provide technical leadership including answering technical and business questions
- Keep appropriate management abreast of project status
LAB TOOLS APPLICATIONS skill set required:
- Minimum 10 years C++, C#, and VB programming and systems analysis
- Minimum 10 years SQL Server database programming and development
- Minimum 10 years systems analysis (requirements, design, development, validation) experience and excellent presentation skills
- Familiarity/programming experience with Microsoft Access and/or Oracle databases
- Familiarity/experience with test lab environment and test cell instrumentation
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Java and web programming experience preferred
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field a plus
