Description
Our client is seeking a Oracle E-business Functional Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. Successful candidate will provide functional application support, analyst, design and develop solutions for Oracle Financial and Hyperion Performance (Hyperion is a plus). An absolute commitment to a can-do customer service attitude is required and must be motivated to provide application support for additional business systems as needed.
Responsibilities:
Primary contact with software vendors to coordinate support, testing, user feedback, and product enhancements for Oracle Financials. Works closely with the organization apply Oracle Financial features and capabilities. Use Altiris to support escalated Help Desk incidents for Oracle Financials Problem solving and debugging and analysis on Oracle Financials Use Oracle Metalink to track, manage and resolve issues with Oracle applications. Establish and maintain testing environments and documentation for new software releases. Prepares end-user documentation. Assists in end-user training
Required:
3-5 years Accounting Experience 3-5 years
Application Support experience supporting Oracle E-business Suite
Preferred:
Hyperion - big plus Understanding of Oracle application support methodologies and industry best practices. Understanding workflow concepts throughout the Oracle Modules. Ability to run queries with TOAD or SQL-Plus
